On 14th May 2005, BYST Hyderabad had a Get-Together of BYST Committee Members and Mentors. The main purpose of the gathering was to thank the outgoing ESP and MAP chairmen, and to welcome the incoming Chairmen and Vice Chairmen, of both the ESP and MAP Committee. The other purpose to have the get together was to review the performance of BYST Hyderabad in the past 6 years. There was a good participation from the members. Altogether 24 mentors & committee members were present. Mr. D V Manohar, Chairman ESP Committee, welcomed all the members. He then briefed the members about the role of ESP Committee and listed out the achievements by BYST Hyderabad programme. He also informed the members that as a next step, BYST Hyderabad plans to form a Core Committee. The main role of this committee is to discuss and advice on important policy issues of BYST. Mr. A V Achar, Chairman MAP Committee, followed this with a brief presentation about the role of MAP Committee. He also gave the current statistics. He informed the members about MOL and the benefits for the same.Finally he thanked all the members especially the MAP committee members for their support and help in leading the MAP Committee. Mr. S Reddy, Vice Chairman ESP Committee and Mr V S Chakravarthy, Vice Chairman MAP Committee, who were to take in charge of ESP Committee and MAP Committee respectively from the outgoing ESP Chairman Mr. D V Manohar and MAP Chairman Mr. A V Achar, shared their experiences on working with them and thanked them for successfully leading their respective Committees for the last six years. As a token of appreciation they handed over mementos to them. This was followed with a Question and Answer session. The members appreciated the achievements made by BYST Hyderabad. They also suggested various ways to improve the present program. During the session tea and snacks were served. Finally, Mr. K Vijay Kumar Gupta, member of both ESP and MAP Committee gave Vote of thanks. Mentor Online Registration forms were distributed, and the members were asked to fill and return it. There was also a “Chart Exhibition” which depicted the various activities and achievements of the BYST Hyderabad program since it’s beginning in Hyderabad. Mentor ONLINE Registration forms were distributed, some members have filled and given back to us, rest will send it to us, then, we will fill the info online. There was a good participation from the members. Total 24 Mentors & committee members were present. Members in question answer session, presented their view and appreciated the efforts put in by out-going chairman's. They also appreciated the get-together and said that we should have more often get-together, which will give us opportunity to learn things from each other and know the happening in BYST. |
